The Largest Charity Beer & Cider Festival in the West Midlands is Back!

We return to Camp Hill Rugby Club from 16th-18th May 2024, bringing a fantastic selection of real ales, craft beers, ciders, and for the first time we will also have a range of cocktails available.

Here’s a rundown of what’s on offer at the festival:

  • Thursday evening is our comedy night with a lineup of top comedians
  • We’re opening early again on Friday, with our pub quiz and a brewing-related event planned for the evening
  • On Saturday we have live music, and inflatables and face painting for the kids
  • Our fantastic food traders will be serving all weekend

Opening Times

  • Thursday 16th May (comedy ticket holders only): 6pm – 10pm
  • Friday 17th May: 12 noon – 11pm
  • Saturday 18th May: 12 noon – 11pm

Last orders are 30 minutes before closing.

About us

Born from the immortal line “I could run a better beer festival than this!” (uttered after a disappointing visit to another festival), Shirley Beer & Cider Festival has grown over the years from a handful of casks racked inside the rugby club to the annual fixture that it is today.

The festival is organised by volunteers from the four charitable organisations of Round Table, Ladies Circle, 41 Club, and Tangent, and all of our profits go to help worthwhile causes in the local community.
